OLD WALNUT and LUSTRI VENEZIANI

Old Walnut module flooring pattern matched with MATT and GLOSS LUSTRI VENEZIANI flooring tiles. 

Old Walnut – one of the Cadorin wood species in greatest demand – is given a new finish, First Cut, that gives a MATT finish recalling the natural color of walnut and enhances it with inserts of LOSS Lustri Veneziani tiles. This flooring MODULE made in three-layer planks is cut into squares and rectangles and laid in puzzle pattern in which the walnut’s grain and shading alternate with Lustri Veneziani terracotta tiles.

The flooring pattern has a matt finish similar to that of raw wood at the moment of cutting, whereas the Lustri Veneziani terracotta tiles are produced through the working of the purest local clay and have an imperfect and irregular surface that also happens to be particularly glossy and reflective.
